Hydro-Jetting Can Work When An Auger Can’t Cut It

Hydro-jetting or power flushing is commonly used when the drain line is either greasy, full of thick sewage or full of silt and mud and a traditional auger is unable to cut it.

It is also mostly used on most preventative maintenance drain cleaning types of jobs.(example: restaurant maintenance)

Drain Maintenance with Hydro-Jetting

Hydro-jetting power flushes by using high pressure water at a high volume to clean the entire circumference of the drain. The pressurized water is sprayed through a specialty nozzle which shoots forward and backwards simultaneously so that any debris or blockages are blasted away and flushed down the line.

Outdoor Drain Cleaning With Hydro-Jetting

Typically power flushing is used on most outdoor drains, including manhole to manhole cleaning or catch basins. Cleaning a manhole main or catch basin is a lot easier with a flusher than it is with an auger and it is the correct method to use.
